consortial advantage
Each member school in The Venture Consortium benefits from the pooling of resources of the schools. The Consortium's programs gain richly from the diverse perspectives offered by the other members of the group. As institutions strive to increase the number and quality of meaningful experiences available to students, partnership projects allow cost-effective and financially sustainable options and solutions. The strength of Venture lies in its cooperative structure and the role that such collaboration can play in the contemporary challenges of higher education. The Venture Board of Directors enables its members to learn extensively from one another about the educational issues on their respective campuses and the variety of ways that individuals and institutions deal with intellectual and societal issues. In this way, and by enabling administrative and faculty intervisitation among participating institutions, the Consortium encourages members to exchange views and capitalize on each other's expertise. about membership
