held in New York City at Bank Street North, December, 2004> meeting overview This meeting took place a year after Public Interest Work colleagues met at Wesleyan to discuss how to better help students interested in socially responsible careers. That meeting led to the development of The Engaged Life program. The Working Group for that program is made up of these Public Interest Work as well as some Community Based Learning colleagues. The group met to evaluate the first semester of the program and to plan for the coming year. The meeting took place in New York City a day prior to The Institute for Public Service Careers (an event sponsored by NYU:Wagner and Action Without Borders - Idealist.org) which some of these colleagues were also attending. notes/excerpts from the meeting
