Title: Our Social Responsibility: how a process of engaging campus staff leads to engaging students
Presented by:
Ken DeBlois (Program Coordinator, The Venture Consortium)

Workshop Description
In recent years The Venture Consortium has organized and facilitated a
series of structured dialogues about how our member campuses educate
students for social responsibility. The course of these discussions has led
campus practitioners to engage each other in discussions of our common
work to educate and support socially aware and responsible students.
Likewise, participants in this session will examine the central questions
about Venture’s work, our public reflection process, and strategies for
achieving desired outcomes. The facilitators will demonstrate the
effectiveness of some of our innovative programming for students and
professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.
