1. expect some culture shock
It will take some time to readjust to taking classes, living on campus, and incorporating all that you've experienced into your life at school. 2. meet with your college venture program coordinator
Let your coordinator know that you're back and share with them what you've been up to. 3. tell Venture about your experience
The staff at Venture's central office would love to hear about your leavetaking experience. Contact us by phone, stop by and visit, or send us an email. 4. assess your financial situation Check in with your financial aid advisor, and perhaps meet with your school’s loan expert to begin discussing loan deferment after graduation.
5. keep your leavetaking experience alive Can you continue doing similar work that you were doing in the local community on a part-time basis? Do you want to do an academic project related to your experience? Do you want to put your experience on your résumé? (back to top) |
